ACPF receives donation from Charlottesville group

The Albemarle County Police Foundation is receiving a generous donation for its K-9 unit. The 100+ Women Who Care Charlottesville raised $7,500 to cover the costs of training Officer Daxel. Group members meet four times a year to nominate a charity of their choice. Co-chair Nancy Markos says supporting the county’s police K-9 unit was a no-brainer.


Meet the Albemarle County police officers working on Christmas Day
